The 182 baggage door spring was broken and decided to replace it with the spring and 2 bolts provided.
I think the spring arrangement is the same as on my previous cessna but my memory is questionable and the details aren t really very important as long as the door latches and the latch returns after you pull it.
The 182a needs part 0311284.
Pulled out latch pivot pin and removed broken spring pieces.
Maybe replacing outside door skin with later model latch.
I used a drill bit and inserted through handle assembly and into latch from opposite direction of pivot pin insertion.
