Ceramics 1 course description ceramics 1 is an introductory course in ceramics covering the three basic methods of hand building.
This course provides a comprehensive study in methods of sculpture hand built clay construction and basic wheel throwing techniques.
Students will learn the basic vocabulary of ceramics as well as methods of surface treatment firing and other related aspects.
Students will produce ceramic art work using pinch slab and coil techniques.
